EXPERIENCE AND LIFESTYLE:
Sid Sottung's passion for barbering ignited at 14 while working in a traditional Italian barbershop in New York. He began a 14-year career with Vidal Sassoon, training in their Downtown New York salon, later achieving success in their New York and Washington DC branches. Sid briefly taught for Fudge in Philadelphia before returning to Sassoon as Assistant Creative Director in the New York salon. He worked on editorial projects, maintained a celebrity client base, and contributed to international fashion shows. After an illustrious Sassoon career, Sid transitioned to their academies as an educator. Post-Sassoon, he pursued a freelance career, contributing to the 2005 film "Pride & Prejudice." In 2014, Sid founded his barbering academy, training stylists at Haus of Sottung. Despite globetrotting for fashion shows, Sid decided to return home to Sherwood, prioritizing his wife Esther and his love for cutting hair in a salon. Welcome to the Haus of Sottung!
