1. To tie a Windsor knot, wrap the tie around your collar so that its seam is facing away from you and the thick end is on the left side. It should exceed the level of your waistband by four to six in.

3. Flip the wide end so that it remains on your right while bending around the loop.
4. Place the wide end behind the narrow one from right to left.

3. Bend the thick end around the narrow one with the former being on top.
4. Fold the wide end around the narrow end once again and run it underneath.
5. Yet again, wrap the wide end around the slim end placing the latter beneath.
6. Pull the thick end through the loop that your neck tie forms around the collar upward.
7. Slip the wide end through the transverse loop around the thin end.
8. To finish off the Kelvin knot tying, snug it with your hand by pulling upward.

 

Four-In-Hand Knot
